Itunes library and sony movie studio 14

Hi all, hoping to get some help here:

I am trying to edit videos through Sony movie studio 14 and the problem that I'm having is being able to put songs from my iTunes from my computer files to the actual video I am editing. the files show up from my control panel but when I open that same album file through "add media" in movie studio, nothing shows up. I have quicktime player downloaded. is this an issue of the files being in the wrong format or am I missing something here through my actual itu?

Anything downloaded via the Apple Music monthly thing is limited to playback only, and only while your subscription remains active. You can use purchased and ripped media with more flexibility, although you still have copyright obligations that govern your useage.

also, if it is no longer possible to add iTunes music downloaded through the apple music monthly pricing thing, is there video editing software that will allow me to add songs from my iTunes into videos that I am editing?
