How can I install Microsoft Word 2013 on my Macbook Pro 13 macOS 10.12.5?
That is a Windows version of Office. It will not work on a Mac unless you run Windows on the Mac. If you want Office for the Mac, then get Office X 2016 for MacOS from Microsoft.
If you don't want to spend money then try the freeware suite, Libre Office, instead.
You cannot install Office 2013 on a Mac directly as that is a Windows only version.
You can choose to run Windows as a virtual machine using software like Parallels or VirtualBox or as an independent OS using Bootcamp. You would then be able to install Office 2013 in that Windows installation.
Otherwise you would need to find a Mac version of Office to install such as Office 2016.
There are also other options such as the aforementioned Libre Office, and even Apple's own Pages, Numbers and Keynote apps.
Hey, Phil,
I think they were all "aforementioned", don't you think, except the Apple ones? 😀😉
Ha! I suppose so. 😉😁
