I've had Logic Pro X for awhile now, but I'm never been able to get it to work. Every video I've watched, people turn it on, the track is analyzed, and the notes show up to manipulate. But when I do it, the notes just don't show up. What's going on? It analyzes, it just won't let me manipulate it. It's driving me insane. Hopefully someone can help.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I select flex and the keyboard and stuff show up, but not the notes to edit.

in the main tracks area you will need to click on the little number in the main audio track, there you will be given a drop down option list, click flatten, then you can proceed with opening up the tracks area, flex, flex pitch etc.
As CCT has pointed out, you cant FLEX a Takes Folder, which is what it looks like in your screen shot.

Looks like you are working with a Take folder? You will need to flatten it (or similar) for Flex Pitch to work.

Not sure what problem you are having.
Select an audio loop (blue) from the loop browser
Drag and drop it in the tracks area
double click it to open up the track editor at the bottom
check the FLEX button
then to the right of the flex button click on the right hand side where it says Flex time, this will open up a list of choices.
check the top choice FLEX PITCH
then you will see lots of little boxes in the track editor, now you can manipulate to your desire.
