CanoScan 9000F does not work with macOSX 12.5

When upgrading to macOSX 12.5 my CanoScan 9000F no longer works. Reinstalling the software (driver from Canon website) does not solve the problem. The scanner will not be recongnized in systemsettings. In 12.4 it worked fine.

Anyone out there with a CanoScan 9000F working under 12.5 or having the same problem?

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2016, 4 TBT3), macOS Sierra (10.12.5)

A friend of mine has excatly the same problem with a CanoScan 9000 F Mark II. Worked under 12.4, does not work with 12.5 - can't believe it's a hardware problem. Going to try with an other computer tomorrow.

Scanner gets power (blue light is on), same USB-cabel works with a hard drive. Don't have any USB-ports (MBP Touch Bar with Thunderbolt-3-ports), tried different adapters for USB to USB-C.
