Convert internal powerbook keyboard into external usb keyboard??

I want to convert a used powerbook G4 keyboard into an external usb keyboard for my MBP. What seems to be needed is a connector with a slot on one side for the ribbon on the powerbook keyboard and on the other side a usb slot. I like the idea of having an external keyboard for my MBP with the same look and feel as the MBP's keyboard. Any ideas?

I checked system profiler and the internal keyboard is both bluetooth and usb. So all that would be needed is a connector from keyboard ribbon to usb port. Probably none exist in the market as this is an unusual thing. But perhaps I can jerryrig something. It's just the look and feel of the MBP keyboard that I'd like to emulate on an external keyboard. You know, as if the external keyboard was designed exclusively for a MacBook Pro.
