How do I stay logged in to 2 different gmail accounts?

I am coming from owning a PC for decades. I've always been able to have my personal Gmail account/apps open at the same time as my work Gmail account/apps. For some reason, my Macbook Pro does not allow this to occur. If I switch to another Gmail account, it logs me out of the other Google apps I was using. This task was so simple on my Dells and HPs, but I can't seem to find a solution for my Macbook.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12.5)

The solution is browser based because Google's account login syncs across all tabs and windows in the same browser on the computer you're using. So the solution is to use 2x different browsers, or Chrome Incognito mode for one of the accounts.

If you're using Google Chrome for your Gmail, you can open a new Incognito Tab or Window "Shift+Cmd+N" or just click in your menu "File > New Incognito Window". Then log into your 2nd Google account in the Incognito window.

I do this often for my Google Analytics account because I use my Google Work account for it, but use my personal Gmail at the same time and don't want to log out. So I just open an incognito window and log into my Google Analytics account there and I don't have to ever logout of my personal Gmail. :-)

If you don't use Google Chrome, or don't like Incognito mode, you can do this same thing using two internet browsers. So you can open one Google Account in Firefox and the other in Safari. If that doesn't work let me know.
