iPhone 7 Plus shut off and won't turn back on

My phone randomly shut off, but not completely. It is stuck on the loading symbol. I tried force restarting it and it will not do anything. I've also tried connecting to iTunes on my computer, but also cannot do anything because I need my phone to be on. It has been on the charger for more than an hour already. Nothing is working.. Has anyone had this problem? If so, how did you fix it? Help.

I had almost the exact same issue with my iPhone 7 this week. It was running low on battery so I plugged it in, but after a couple of minutes it shut down anyway. I assumed it was because I was using it at the same time as trying to charge. I put it on charge but although the charging screen appeared, it wouldn't turn on after a couple of hours. I left it on charge overnight and it still wouldn't turn on the following morning. I tried connecting it to iTunes, resetting it, nothing worked. In the end I contacted Apple Support and had to send it away for repair. They've just confirmed it needs to be replaced altogether (it's only 4 months old) - I'm beginning to wonder if this is a consistent issue with the 7...
