Q: Xsan cvadmin gives error, Cannot List FSS 0 - reason -Bad file descriptor
My XSAN system appears to be operating normally, and the GUI seems to work OK, but when I go into terminal and use cvadmin, I'm getting the following error:
Cannot list FSS 0 - reason - Bad file descriptor
No FSSs are active.
Select FSM "none"
I had this problem about a couple weeks ago after a power failure, but I was able to bring up my MDC's one at a time, reset volumes, bring up the 2nd, reset volumes, then everything worked OK and the command line started reporting properly.
Everything has been working fine since then, and I was just going in to run a quota report when I get this "Cannot list FSS 0" error again. Does anyone know what's going on, and maybe some ideas on how to get this working correctly?
Thanks,
