How top copy and paste a table on pages created on Numbers

I created a table on Numbers and I would like to transfer it to Pages. So I copy this table but when I paste it in Pages nothing happens. I tried a screenshot but the quality of the table is not very good.
I have the last version of those 2 apps.

macOS Sierra (10.12.4)

I does work here. Sorry you are having trouble getting it to work. In Numbers are you selecting the table, clicking the "bulls-eye" and typing command-c (not ctr+c)? That means holding the command key and typing c.

In Pages are you clicking first so you have a blinking cursor, and then typing command-v (not ctr+v)?

Just in case you haven't done these already, here are some things you can try:

-- quit both Numbers and Pages, and restart your Mac

If that doesn't work try:

-- sign is as a different user on your Mac and try table copy-paste there

If that doesn't work try:

-- check the click settings in System Preferences for your "pointing device" (mouse or trackpad)
