Missing battery level warning for Magic Mouse

Apple needs to implement a battery level warning for the Magic Mouse (and a easily accessible battery level indicator). I just had to find another mouse because I unexpectedly had to charge it. How likely do you think it is for me to change back?

Thank you for clarifying the situation; it is always best to include such detail for any question you pose in the forums.

The low battery level warning comes on at about 6%. Mine always does but having said that, it does not stay on. I also have the battery level showing in my main menu bar and I've read somewhere that by clicking on the bluetooth icon in the menu bar the battery level shows up.

But the reminder is the key and I would suggest that if you find an element of an Apple process not working ... send the detail to product feedback at this link.

https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-9451. you will not necessarily get an answer but we are assured they read all such posts.

Insofar as charging is concerned, you need only charge for two or three minutes to get sufficient power for an average days usage. Time to make yourself a coffee while it happens. This Apple document explains ... https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT205160

And lastly, this is an interesting document that covers the mouse in general ... http://alvinalexander.com/apple/mac-keyboard-mouse-battery-level-check

macOS Sierra, Version 10.12.4 (16E195), MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012), Magic Mouse 2.

I know you can see the current battery level in (Apple Menu->)System Preferences->Mouse.

But there is no more easily available indicator, f.ex. in the Menu Bar, and more importantly; there is no Low Battery Level warning of any kind (the system should e.g. give a notification when the level drops below a configured level, and remind you to charge).

The lack of these simple and obvious features just made my mouse stop working without me having any idea why, in the morning of my work day, so I had to find another one at the office. Could have been avoided if I had left it for charging last night.
