WPA not secure meaning?

Hello to all. I use w wifi router at home to connect to all of my devices, including my iMac. I have observed this warning when I connect my iPhone to the wifi network: WPA is not considered secure. If this is your wifi network, configure the router to use WPA2 Personal [AES] security type.

I would like to learn what this means and what I should do.

Regards and take care

It is easy. Just reset the router's security from WPA to WPA2 assuming the router supports it. If you need to change it in your cable modem, then you will need to have their tech support change it for you since you won't have access to the modem's internal firmware. What is the make and model of the router you are using?
