I'm using a MacPro Book 13" Retina computer. I'm trying to send a mass email mail out to our club members and would like to use my mail program and my contact program.

They will go in one send, just make a group containing the addresses and send the group to the address.

What if I do not want to use icloud and just sent it out period? Is this possible?
Then the limits will be different.
Only you know who your email provider is, so only you know the answer to that question.
The limits would depend on who your email provider is. You'll need to contact them for information.
That is a lot of emails to send at once.
