Activity App / Garmin Approach x40

Since I got my apple watch I've use the activity app religiously to close the rings everyday. I really like how it forces me to stay active. Now that golf season has started I'm seeing a problem and I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue. I really don't like the apps on the apple watch for golf gps, and I bought a Garmin Approach x40 last year which i really do like. So when I'm golfing I take off my apple watch and put on the Garmin device.

This device actually syncs it's exercise to the Activity app thru Garmin Connect which is great... but for some reason it doesn't sync the "Move" part of the exercise (even though the garmin is showing active/total calories). I'm just wondering if anyone has a suggestion to give to try and get that data to sync somehow. Seems odd that I'm getting one ring to work but not the other.

Hi

Garmin provides the following information about data syncing between their app and the Health app on your iPhone:

For help concerning use of Garmin Connect Mobile (a third-party app) in conjunction with Apple Watch, including in respect of any supported data syncing features in either direction, I suggest that you consult Garmin's support resources and/or contact Garmin:
