I can't seem to clear website data, browsing history and cookie from iPad Air 2 and iPhone 7+ . I've tried going through settings>safari>clear history and website, settings>safari>advanced>website data>remove all website data (and individually through edit). I've given it time but they are not clearing. This did not used to be the case prior to iOS 10.3.2. How can this be resolved?

Are you still having this problem even after iOS updates? I have been battling the issue of my iPhone 6s Plus not removing all website data for more than a year. Well, I am crossing my fingers that the problem has actually been corrected with iOS 11.2.2.
I installed iOS 11.2.2 and was checking how my installed apps were behaving. No problems yet. Of course, I wanted to check the website data; all of the websites I could not delete were still there. I then clicked on remove all website data, and poof, it was all removed. I revisited two of the problematic websites this morning and was able to delete their website data from the analytics section. I did not test whether the website data could be removed by just clicking on clearing the cache. I am cautiously optimistic that this troublesome problem appears to have been fixed in iOS 11.2.2 and will not return as I visit more websites.
Thanks for the reply, Eric. Unfortunately, these links refer to the same steps I've already taken and noted in my original post. In the past, this has worked but now, it's not working on either my iPad or iPhone. If you or anyone else has a suggestion for additional steps, I'm all ears.

This is a well known and lame defect in the Safari app so here is my easy fix... albeit totally bailing on Safari.
1. Download the Firefox web browser. It's free from the App Store and set it up the way you want.
2. Turn Safari off. I.e. From the iPhone home screen>settings>general>restrictions>enable restrictions>four-digit pass code>safari>turn "off".
3. This will automatically remove the Safari icon from the iPhone tool bar. That's nice because you can simply drag the Firefox icon there. Now your our back in business with a more secure browser.
4. Of course you can always turn Safari back on when/if it gets fixed... but you may have decided you don't want it. It's nice to have options!

That worked on my ipad also .. Im guessing when you do a 'hard' reset it resets safari.. Unfortunately when i started using safari again after restricting it for a while ( Im using other browsers) the website data tracking cookies started to come back one by one .. They all read 0 bytes to this day.. Well apple Bye-Bye , im going back to restricting safari AGAIN....
I should have mentioned that I've tried that too. No luck.
