How do I connect my MacBook Pro 15-inch, Mid 2012 (without retina) to my TV? What cables and adapters (preferably with audio) do I need? Will appreciate if someone could link the products off Amazon or ebay cuz I get confused when trying to search. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I think the easiest route considering the 2012 MacBook has a Thunderbolt port, is to get a Mini Display Port to HDMI adapter and a standard HDMI cable, assuming of course your TV has HDMI inputs. No real need to mess around with DVI.

BIG EDIT: Was doing two things at once. Saw Digital Video Output in specs and started thinking DVI/no sound; it's actually DVI via Thunderbolt. Duh. So ignore my previous post altogether and get a MDP to HDMI adapter and HDMI cable. 😕
We know the Mac, but have absolutely no clue to whatever it is you call "TV". Without that information, no idea what alternatives are available.
