Oil damage to keyboard and display (retina)

Hey yesterday I was following a recipe and I spelt olive oil by mistake on my MacBook Pro retina 2015 the oil got into the keyboard , the screen and the ventilation openings under the screen.

The MacBook is heating very quickly and it's very hot

How can I clean this stuff and the most important for me is the screen.

Hi,

First, shut down your MBP and disconnect the power adapter.

The display cannot be fixed, it must be replaced if you decide to spend that much money after reading the following.

Even though your MBP is still running, that is likely to change as the oil penetrates into the inside of the MBP. In order to have a chance at survival, the MBP needs to be disassembled and cleaned (everywhere the oil touched), usually with a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol, then let dry for a few days.

The keyboard is another matter. It may need to be replaced, as removing each key and cleaning it would prove to be a large task, with no guarantee of success. The oil is likely to get sticker over time and result in sticky keys.

If you're lucky, the MBP will run again. If so, I'd run it for awhile (several days at minimum) to have a pretty good idea it's going to keep running. Only then would I decide to replace the display or not. If you replace the display right away, then the MBP stops running, you may have wasted the money spent on the display and need the logic board and keyboard replaced.
