The photos icon has disappeared from my IPad home screen. How do I get it back onto my home screen and onto the lower band with the icons for Safari, emails and music?

I can still access all my photos (133) from the camera icon. But, it is quicker and easier to access directly from the photo icon. My IPad has version 10.3.2 and has capacity of 60 GB.

iPad, iOS 4.2

You may have dragged the Photos.app to a folder or another home screen. You can find it by typing Photos into the search field or swiping through all home screens and looking into each folder.

If you can find it, remove one of the apps from the strip at the bottom of the home screen by holding down onto it, until the apps start to wiggle. Drag it off the strip, then drag Photos there instead. Press the home button to save the changes.
