How delete ebay database files
I am unable to delete a persistent Ebay database, that reappears right after all web data is supposedly deleted. What is (not) happening, and how do I delete these persistent tracking files?

Thank you Dominic and Eric for the information. I was able to delete that persistent database using the protocol described, Thanks! In addition, I did find that cookies were regenerating themselves from the bookmarks for those sites as Safari started up. I could watch them appear as the icon for the shortcut was loaded. By deleting these offending shortcut icons, I was able to get rid of those self-regenerating cookies that were not dealt with by the earlier method. Hope this helps others with this problem.

As the 2nd article points out, they are capable of regenerating after deletion with files that go to many parts of the system.

In add-on to what dominic posted, go to Safari/History and delete any entries for the related websites.
You are welcome.
