Malwarebytes now has active protection. Currently when a user downloads MB, they're given a thirty day trial of the feature. I don't know if it's easily noticeable to a user so the regular helpers here might get some questions.

Is Malwarebytes independent of AntiVirus Sentinel Pro? I keep seeing completely opposite notions of whether AntiVirus Sentinel Pro is legit or scam. I have both this programs. I just uninstalled Avira antivirus. I'm trying to get the junk off my computer and maybe install legit programs for protection.

My 15" MacBook Pro crashes at least several times a week now if not daily. I think I should also run a maintenance tool, but I'm afraid to download any of those either. You never know who online is telling the truth.

Would greatly appreciate any help.
