lost my recovery key for apple i.d

I am now really frustrated . Locked my account and trying to recover my password. But it keeps asking for recovery key. Managed to get to a point where it can send a sms to my phone with verification code, but its asking for the old password. I mean thats messed up. Anything I can do? Cause it only gives you two chances to put the password. then locks for another 8hrs.
