You don't.

You can only track IF

1. You have setup Find My iPhone before the lost

2. iPhone has Internet connection

3. iPhone is not switched off

4. iPhone battery is not dead.

You cannot trace your phone with the imii number at all.

If you turned on the find my iPhone feature on the iPhone, then you may be able to track via iCloud. Otherwise, you cannot track it.
