Storage requirements for new iPad pro 10.5

I tend to use up the storage space on a given iDevice model.

I have a 128 GBs iPad Pro and I wish I waited a little longer for the 256 GBs storage model that came 6 months later.

I have approx. 39 GBs left of free storage space out of 117 GBs of initial storage space.

I got by on 64 GBs storage iDevices for many years, but you can't beat having a lot more storage space in a mobile device, like an iPad.

So, go for the larger storage storage sizes.

I think you'll be very happy with a 256 GBs storage iPad.

The new iPad Pro 10.5 has a better camera than your iPad Air 1, so I guess you will take more photos and also the photos have a better resolution (means more storage is used as well).

FYI, no matter how much space you have on your device, you should alway make backups.

Treat it like any other digital camera. Better safe than sorry.

I was wondering the same... which capacity for the new iPad pro 10.5...

I'm a teacher, so I want to do some video with application such as explain everything, correcting copy using the pencil, no music, some photos (and all my photo take only 4 Go on my laptop!)

FYI, I have a old MacBook Pro (2009) and it has 320 Go as storage. There is still 124 Go FREE. So, I wondering, 256 Go will maybe too much... I would definitively buy 128 go, but I can't. So I would have to pay 130 $ more to be safe... it's not fun...

I agree that if you *might* be anything other than a light user, 256GB is the best option, especially if you want to keep it a while and be future-proofed. I double-checked and was close to the 32GB limit on my iPad Air, so decided to play safe with the 256GB version. In all honesty, 128GB would probably have been fine but this is not an option and the 256GB upgrade was at least in part paid for by my educational discount.

I agree with the others - go for what you can afford and need, but have an eye on future-proofing it with greater storage if you intend keeping it for a while, as I do.

Get what you can afford, you cannot upgrade later.

256 GB is good for all your photos, movies.

For futureproofing, I think you should just "bite the bullet" and get the 256 GBs storage version.

64 Gbs won't be enough for your needs now or in the future.
