My iphone 7 left side speaker is not working why?

My speaker sounds awful but the ppl in Genius Bar want to charge me $49 to fix it on 26/dec/2017 even I have apple care n they said it’s discount already, my hubought it on 31/dec/2016 for my birthday, then it broke down in two weeks time, I can’t use it to record I gave birth n some Moment of the newborn on 23/Jan/2017, then my hubby got replacement after long time waiting in there on 14/2/2017. I swear the speaker was so bad even when I got it, but I don’t know the difference till I heard they compare with theirs and also she didn’t find out till I ask her to compare!

At the bottom of the iPhone there is only one speaker.

Left is microphone, right is a speaker.

The second speaker is at the top of the screen in portrait mode.

Oh boy, the stupidity!

Also the three ppl in the Genius Bar didn’t tell me there is only one speaker on the bottom, NON of them! So unhelpful!
