Go for only 6s, I faced worst experience with 7 in last five months of purchase iPhone7, heating, camera and flashlight issues I have faced, three times submitted the device still not satisfied at all. Got free scratches gift on back panels too

The 7, current flagship model, sports all the latest fancy features and capabilities, most touted of which is the fancy camera. If you need or want any of these features, then it is the model to choose.
However, do remember that the 7 is the first one no longer to have a music-out jack. So if you do a lot of music hearing, like many who perpetually walk about with the EarBuds dangling, this may be an issue and may require further investments.
So consider not only what each model has, as well as what it has not.
Why can't you walk around with ear buds in an iPhone 7? It ships with a lightening to headphone jack adapter, as well as its own native lightening connector headphones? All my old cabled headphones with mini-jacks work fine with my iPhone 7 using the included adapter.
I get that you cannot charge and listen at the same time without a third party dongle, but you most certainly can wander around all day with an iPhone 7 and headphones plugged in.
I hate dongles.
But then, if I ever do listen to music from the phone, it is on the car via BT or even thru its Lightning cable so it gets charged too.
