How do I turn off the notifications from "Settings"
How do I turn off the notifications to set up two-step authentication. I don't want it and don't want the constant barrage of reminders.

Thank you for responding. It's nice to know there is someone who will help me figure out computer stuff!
I had misunderstood what this feature was. I thought I read that everytime I got on my phone I'd need to use a second code! I realize now that is wrong - so I went ahead and installed it completely. Thanks! Catherine
OK, so if it says "Please finish setting up Two-Factor Authentication", then it means you have already started the process. You can go to: Apple - My Apple ID on a computer, and see if Two-Factor Authentication is showing as "ON" in the Security section. If it is, then turn it off.
If it isn't, then follow the prompts on the message you are getting to finish doing whatever it is that it wants you to do.
And, not sure why you don't want the feature? Without it, you risk the security of your Apple/iCloud ID and your personal information attached to your Apple ID.

You can't turn it off. Are you using 3rd party apps that access your iCloud data? For example, are you using Outlook or Google for the Mail app? If you are, then in two days, you will not be able to use those apps unless you have Two-Factor Authentication.
Can you give us a little more information about what the messages say, and when you get them?
Cheers,
GB
Thanks for responding! You know how you pick up your phone and get any notifications that have come in. Well since I updated there is ALWAYS a notification from SETTINGS. It says "Two-Factor Authentication - Finish setting up two-factor authentication on this iphone." I don't feel the need to use that and it seems like more work getting my phone unlocked. Everytime my phone locks (from me not using it) I get another notification...so I am getting several notices a day! Am I going to have to read reminders from now on, even tho I don't want the feature?
I check my mail on Safari and I don't use Outlook.
Thanks
Catherine
