GarageBand Error while trying to synchronize Audio and MIDI

I frequently use my Tascam iUR2 to record with GarageBand and recently it's stopped working as it had previously. I hear a steady pitter patter (In my headphones which are plugged into the tascam) and when I play a what I've recorded it's slow choppy and over all glitchy until I get a message prompt saying "GarageBand Error while trying to synchronize Audio and MIDI Sample Rate 32,110 recognized"
