I had a number of apps disappear from my iPhone 6 running 10.3.2 after updating a couple of apps. I have been able to reinstall most of them but can't find the email app that comes with the iphone. I checked in the App store and none of those that come up appear to be the standard/stock email that comes with the iphone. How do I find it and reinstall?
This has happened to me. When I search for "iphone email app" in the itunes app store, I don't see the iphone email app that came with the phone. There are others, and I tried 2, but they don't work as good as the original one that came stock with the iphone 6s. How else could I find this?
That would be in Settings / Mail / Accounts. Since you deleted and later reinstalled the Mail app that accesses the accounts, it may be best to delete and recreate all pertinent accounts to make sure Mail picks them up correctly, instead of hoping it figures out which is what from the mess leftover from its previous instance. Note that the Delete Account control in all but the AppleID/iCloud account does not delete it from the provider, just deletes its info from the phone settings and can be recreated by redoing the Add New Account. As for the iCloud account, it may help to sign out and back in again.
You can search for the stock apps in the App Store on the latest iOS. Can redownload it from there
Thank you! Now I have to figure out how to get access to my emails! It keeps telling me my account is added but I can't get into it!
I had the same problem trying to find Apple's Mail app, but finally found it by specifically searching for "Mail" in the App Store.
