whatsapp media

I have WhatsAPP app on my Mac Air...I observe that the media that is deleted on the mobile is still existing on the Mac when played from the conversation window. How can I delete all media files in general...where are they stored on Mac...path?

Are you saying that the media doesn't play or show on the phone but does on the Mac??

I believe that WhatsApp uses your phones connection and doesn't store anything locally as everything is encrypted (thats how I understand it works anyway).

So if a conversation is deleted from the phone, the Mac app will connect to the phone and refresh when it is loaded.

If you want to make sure its all removed, try removing the link with the Mac client in the Whatsapp iPhone app and reauthorising, it might clear a cache.
