Safari works fine on Data but no other app does.

Safari works fine on Data but no other app does.

Can search and use safari fine using my data but nothing else does i.e Snapchat, facebook, google maps etc.

Using Tesco in the UK and is fine on android but not in a 5s...

Any ideas?

Hello Duffnut,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with apps accessing cellular data. I am happy to check this out with you.

Please click Settings > Cellular, and make sure any app that is not working on Cellular data is enabled to work ( iPhone User Guide - Cellular data settings ).

If the app is already enabled to use cellular data, try:

1. Disabling cellular data for each app you are experiencing trouble with.

2. Restarting your iPhone: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

3. Going back to Settings > Cellular and re-enabing cellular data for the apps. Test if you are still experiencing the same issues.

Thanks for the answer. Discovered this morning what the issue is, tesco mobile allow you to set age limits on Web content for your kids. Works great on android but obviously not so well on ios. Turning off this restriction and all is OK.

Odd one, but there you go.
