Why on Macbook each website opens 5 times slower than on MBP ?

I have the latest Macbook 12''and latest Macbook Pro 15''. I am really perplexed why opening the same website (any), on the same network, with the same latest versions of OSX, take 1-2 seconds on Macbook Pro and 5-10 seconds on MacBook. I tried them now side by side, it is unbelievable how slow Macbook is. Restarted, Safari is the only programme opened and the same. Is this normal ??

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12.2), MacBook Pro 2016 15''

Hi,

No, it doesn't sound normal. The obvious question is, what's different between the two machines. Do you have any apps on the MB that might interact with Safari, like anti-virus?

Try Clear History in the Safari menu. Open System Preferences and go through each item on both machines and see if they're the same. Under the Privacy tab, click on Manage Website Data, click on Remove All, the Done.
