Mac Mini 2010 SSD Speed

Hello,

so I have this Mac mini 2010 and I have upgraded it with an MX300 275GB SSD from Crucial.

Everything seems to be working well. But the speed test is really surprising. It is supposed to give up to 530 in Read and 500 in Write. But I am getting way lower than expected.

There are these numbers on the right side, but I have no idea which are correct; the main numbers above or the numbers on the right side.

Does anyone have any idea?

in performance it is not slow. It is just this speed test thing .. I have tried another software and it is the same. I was just wondering if there is any setting or something that is causing this.

There is no setting to slow it down.

Interface Sata 6.0Gb/s

So apparently at least one Mac Mini 2010 model is 6G, his.

I only see the Crucial SSD spec's and then the Disk Speed Test.

The 2010 Mac Mini's are all 3GB.

Sorry for the typo, it is a PNY CS1211 SSD that we have in our 2010 Mac Mini.

Your SSD has connected at 1.5Gb/s, return it to Crucial and purchase an SSD with a Sata 2 (3Gb/s) interface.

I bought it from eBay :/ but I have a MBP 2012 with an EVO 850 and it is connected at 6 GB .. I am thinking of switching them or do you think it is useless?

Going from Sata 3 to 2 is a downgrade rather than an update, but maybe Crucial can do it.

Just looked at my 2009 MBP which also has a 3 Gb/s (Sata 2) connection, I fitted it with an OWC 480GB SSD which is a 6Gb/s drive, it runs as it should at 3Gb/s, speeds are 243 (read) and 228 (write)
