Is there an adapter 8 pin female to 30 pin male for iPod Classic to get audio from iHome dock, as well as charge?

Sorry that adapter would have to be made by Apple and they never produced an adapter to dock the older iPods/iPhones. You can play, charge and wake to the iPod by using the charging cord from the Classic into the USB port on the back of the [iHome] unit.
