Are you seeing this only on Yahoo sites, such as Yahoo Mail or Yahoo News?
I've been seeing lots of cases of certificate errors in Safari involving ssum.casalemedia.com, and so far it's always on a Yahoo site. There seems to be no adware or malware involved, as it's happening on machines that are clean.
If you're seeing the same thing, my best advice is to stop using all Yahoo services. If you have a Yahoo e-mail address, switch to a different e-mail on a different service. Essentially all Yahoo accounts have gotten hacked over the last couple years, due to a series of poorly-handled security breaches at Yahoo.
Get as far as you can, as quickly as you can, from the dumpster fire that is Yahoo.
Thank you! Getting ready to move from Oregon to CA and my e-mail address will change, so it would cause me a lot of time to change now and then again in 6 weeks, but will start the process you suggested. I'm almost 77, and am computer illiterate so to speak, but your suggestion makes sense. Thanks again.
I'm not sure I understand... unless you're using an e-mail address from your internet service provider (ISP), and are going to have a different ISP at the new location, there's no reason to change your e-mail address simply because you're moving. If you're using a Yahoo e-mail address, that's not one that is provided by your ISP. You can change to something like a GMail address and keep the same address no matter where you move.
Yes, changing is not an easy thing. You have to make sure everyone you correspond with has the new address, but you also need to think about any online accounts you have that are linked with that e-mail address. In some cases, closing down an e-mail address prematurely could cause problems accessing some online accounts.
Ideally, you'd want to forward mail from Yahoo to your new e-mail address for a while to avoid missing anything important, much as you will have your postal mail forwarded for a while when you move.

Install and run Malwarebytes on your iMac. This should discover and remove this malware.
Easy to follow directions, but got a response back that I already had Malware on my iMac, but it did get rid of all the ads so far. Thanks.
Do not know how to change from Yahoo to another. assume I have to notify everyone on my mail list if I change from Yahoo?
