Apple ID verification code

Trying to generate and app specific password to connect my amazon Alexa to my iOS calendar to add events through Echo Dot. Once i log in to the appleid.apple.com. I generate a code and enter it in to the 6 digit slots. the page then loads to another apple page and the page is blank. I am unable to do or go any further. Any Help would be great?

This was happening a lot yesterday. Unfortunately, all you can do is try again later. With the change in 2 Factor Authentication for 3rd party applications, the server may be overwhelmed.

Thanks for the help. I still cannot get in and was trying over a weeks time. But i know this has happened with password reset stuff before as well. Thanks
