icloud account was working on Samsung Galaxy S8 then i was asked to enter password. When i did, it said username or password incorrect. I checked, and username and password are not incorrect. Tried to add account manually with all the settings suggested, but no luck. Any advice?
Apple now require you to use 2 Factor Authentication (2 Step Verification in some locations) and create an app specific password for 3rd party applications that access your iCloud account with the use of a password, you can initiate the 2 Factor Authentication (2 Step Verification) set up and create app specific passwords at My Apple ID
This is unfortunately unhelpful, as I have undertaken 2 phase recognition and I still cannot load my ME account.
I was talked to by an Apple agent, but now can't get help via your on-line live chat....

Your Samsung phone can't be trusted, but you can use it's number as a trusted number instead.
