Apple Pay On Apple Watch

I used to have Apple Pay on my Apple Watch, but my phone was damaged and had to be replaced (iPhone 7+) with the same model. After reconfiguring my phone, Apple Pay is no longer available on my Apple Watch. My watch tells me to add cards in the Apple Watch app on my iPhone, and Apple's Web site say to do this on the "Wallet and Apple Pay" section of the Watch app. However, on my phone there is no such section, but there is a Wallet section, and that doesn't let me add cards like I could on my old phone. Any ideas what is going on? Both the iPhone and the Watch say they are on they latest versions of OS.

Thanks for responding. Yes, I have a passcode set on the watch. I also have wrist detection on and it is correctly paired. The region is exactly the same as the old phone. I did check the link you provided, but the directions indicate that the app section should say "Wallet and Apple Pay" but it just says "Wallet" and does not give me an option to add it to my watch, as my old phone did. Do you have a passcode on your watch? I know that is one of the first things you have to do to be able to use Apple Pay on the watch. See this section of the Apple Watch User Guide. http://help.apple.com/watch/#/apd76424826d


Are you in an area where Apple Pay is accepted. Do you have the correct region set on the changed iPhone?
