iPhone case that covers screen edges WITHOUT built in screen protector??

Does anyone know if there is a case for the iPhone 6s that covers the edges of the screen but DOES NOT have a built-in screen protector? The Otterbox Defender would be great if it didn't have the built-in screen protector. I already have a really good tempered glass screen protector and using a case with another layer over the touchscreen part causes the touchscreen to malfunction. I want a case that covers the black (or white if you have the white version) edges of the screen that can still shatter but are not part of the touchscreen. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
