How do I turn on/off the notification for my ringer/silent switch. My iphone 7 shows when I toggle the ringer / silent switch. My wife's iph 7 does not. Don't know where to change it in settings. I appreciate some help, Thanks!

I guess you're talking about this indication, showing you just turned on the ringer (or adjusted its volume):
I don't think you can change whether it's viewed or not. But check Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Change with Buttons, because if that is "Off", then your volume and ringer/silent switches will be disabled.

They both show a red area on the ringer/silent switch underbody when set.
Thanks! That answers one question for me, I have another. how do I set or change the notification of whether the switch has been turned on or off. can't seem to find it anywhere.
Yes! The indicator is what I'm talking about. Checked my phone and the button is on. All good, gotta see if that feature is turned off on my wife's phone. Thanks for the help!
