Is there any way to show my contact photos in my messages?

Is there any way to get my contact photos to show up in my messaging app?

iPhone 7, iOS 10.3.2

Did you read my post at all?

You posted in Using Mac App Store, what has that got to do with your question?

Is your question about Messages on your iPhone or your Mac?

You got me confused.

Anyway on iPhone: if you switch in

Settings > Messages > Show Contact Photos: ON

and you have photos in your Contacts app, it should work.

Do a test using iPhone:

1. Open Contacts app

2. Assign a photo to a contact. Tap a contact, tap Edit, then tap “add photo.” You can take a photo or add one from the Photos app.

3. Open Messages app

4. Send that contact that has a photo (see number 2)

5. Wait for reply.
