magic keyboard ALT key missing
I just bought a 2017 iMac. It came with the standard Magic Keyboard (no number pad). The ALT key is missing. What is the proper keystroke to use when a command requires the ALT key?

The Option key is the Apple equivalent of Alt. "Option" and "Alt" are used interchangeably. For anything you see that requires the Alt key, use Option.
Hope this helps!

If no one answers that sounds like a good question to ask AppleCare. If you did not know you have 90 days of complimentary AppleCare telephone support when you buy a new Mac. This is explained in Apple Complimentary Support
Good luck.
