My icloud email isnt working on android

Apple now require you to use 2 Factor Authentication (2 Step Verification where 2 factor Authentication is not available) and create an app specific password for 3rd party applications that access your iCloud account with the use of a password, you can initiate the 2 Factor Authentication (2 Step Verification) set up and create app specific passwords at My Apple ID

Two-factor authentication is currently available to iCloud users (in most locations) with at least one device that's using iOS 9 or OS X El Capitan or later.

How does one do this without an apple device..... i got rid of my apple devices years ago and now cannot access my emails unless i log in through my computer........i really liked my email before..... might have to move away from apple if they keep doing stuff like this.

You can enable 2 Step Verification.
