Latest version of Pages that can run on OSX 10.9.5

Running OSX 10.9.5 on a mid 2007 Mac with 6GB of memory, what is the latest version of "Pages" and "Numbers" that load and use?

Apple only keeps the last version of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote in the Mac App Store, and do not offer full past versions for download. Thus, there are no Pages, or Numbers applications that you can now obtain from Apple for OS X 10.9.5.

Your options:

  1. Purchase a retail iWork '09 DVD from an Amazon or Ebay reseller.

Once installed, follow it with the Apple iWork 9.3 updater which will give you the last revisions for Pages 09 v4.3, Numbers '09 v2.3, and Keynote '09 v5.3.

  2. Install a non-Apple word processing and spreadsheet solution that works on Mavericks 10.9.5
    1. LibreOffice v5 (MS Office replacement suite) - free
    2. NeoOffice (Cocoa application) - purchase
    3. Nisus Writer/Nisus Writer Pro - purchase (no spreadsheet)
    4. Others, based on your workflow requirements

and do not offer full past versions for download.

Not true for prior purchases. But true for new purchases.

One can install a previous OS and still get the previous versions of Pages, Numbers and Keynotes for that OS that were previously purchased. I've done this many times with Yosemite and El Capitan re-installs and always have been offered the previous versions of those apps.
