the iphone (iphone) could not be restored. an unknown error occurred (-1). I was trying to fix my network problem so I wanted to restore my iPhone but I keep getting this error. It won't even let me update it either

Turn iPhone off
Make sure your pc is running the latest iTunes 12.6.1
Connect lead to USB on your pc
Press & hold just the power button down on iPhone don't let go
Connect lead to iPhone keep power button pressed down until pc sees iPhone Then wait for restore you may need to do this more than once Before it works.

You have one of two issues: a hardware failure or this iPhone has been jailbroken or previously rolled back to an earlier version of the software. If you haven't done the latter two items then you will need to get it serviced.

my phone is currently stuck in restore mode....nothing i do changes it at all
