missing Boot Camp 6 Control Panel

My Boot Camp Control Panel is missing. The problem is well described in this discussion. This is the potential solution which discusses getting Windows to not update drivers automatically. However, I can't get the Control Panel to reinstall, which means I cannot right click to get to that option.

This is the software I want to access, and it is installed (usually) in the Windows System Tray.

After lots of fits and starts with Apple support, they keep telling me that they don't support this, I'm at wits end.

I've managed to figure out how to re-download the Apple Drivers. This was found scouring the web, and is in no thanks to Apple telling me I had to erase the Windows partition and start over. TO INSTALL A MOUSE DRIVER. Seriously, Apple, really?

In previous versions of Boot Camp, to reinstall the drivers, you did this:

The way you do this in 6.1 is entirely different. The option is now hidden in the Action Menu.

I've figured out how to get the software downloaded, and gain access to it from the Windows partition. (I used Paragon NTFS to get Windows to see the Mac partition). I've run the installer. The drivers ARE installed. But the control panel for those drivers does not get installed.

I'm not able to set the trackpad to allow me to use right click, and I'm not able to set the function keys so they behave like function key defaults on the Windows side.

If anyone can assist me in getting the Boot Camp Control Panel reinstalled, I would be forever grateful.

The drivers ARE there.

The control panel is not.

Without the control panel, there is no way to interact with the drivers. I cannot enable right click, and I cannot set the F keys to act as F keys on a Windows keyboard.

I can't figure out how to get that part to install, or why it won't install (it was there before, as noted in the original post, but it kept uninstalling).
