On My iPad running OS 10.3.2 when using Safari in the landscape position, I have a Bookmarks and Reading list in a pane down the left side of the screen. How can I hide it and then recall it?

Do you see a little book symbol?
On your safari do you have the navigation bar along the top? If you've scrolled down on a page, scroll back to the top to see the navigation bar and tabs. The little book icon is on the left side. Tapping on that makes the bookmark list come and go
The book icon was Blue, tapped it several times to no avail, however, my because of my frustration I tapped the "glasses" icon hard and it dropped the entire area down and there it was now on top of the left side of the page - THE BLUE BOOK ICON! I tapped it and poof! The bookmarks are GONE!!! Funny I had tried that "glasses" icon before & got nothing! Thanks for your help!

Bookmarks in landscape are driving me nuts! There are no little arrows in the upper left corner on my screen, how do I get rid of the bookmarks. Never had this happen until last week! Grrrrr!!!!!
Up on the left, see the two little arrows and an icon that looks like a book? Tap on the book and it hides/un hides that pane
