
Apple's policy is to not give refunds on CTO Macs. Period.
Now they can replace it if it is defective, and I supposed exceptions are made, but it really is up to Apple and no one here can give you an asnwer.
Based on the troubles you outline in your "not a poll" topic, I would think that Apple would replace it. When did you purchase it and when did these troubles show up? Have you already contacted Apple about it and what did they say?
If it never worked properly, I would be asking for a replacement instead of accepting a repair as no new computer should need to be fixed.
