Post Script fonts ok on one mac and not another.

Hey all

I am pulling my hair out and hoping someone has seen this issue before. I am in Desktop Support at a University and I am the one who grew up using and prefers Macs, so naturally I get all those tickets...

I am having trouble with a Post Script font.

I understand all the issues with the suitcase and so on. I have the font working just fine on my machine. I unzipped and placed everything in a folder and moved that folder to Macintosh HD / Library / Fonts and the font shows up in Word, Pages and Photoshop and I can validate it in Font Book.

On my user's machine, which is the same hardware and same image as mine so the differences are minimal, I did the same thing and ... nothing. Not in Font Book, not in applications. Relaunched Finder, restarted machine, even a PRAM reset for fun...

Is there a stupid little .plist I can hunt down and blow away or something?

I am finding plenty about this issue that is resolved by the steps I already took, but no one seems to have had this happen...

So here I am... little help?

Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), null
