iphone is disabled in black screen?

Hi,

Due to my stupidity, I couldn't remember my password and entered this disabled mode.

I tried itunes update and restore method to unlock and restore my phone. However, it kept showing me the same old screen of "iphone is disabled" screen with emergency call.

After few more attempt, it suddenly showed black screen with only "iphone is disabled connect to itunes" text.

I have tried to do the restore mode from there, however, it doesn't go into the restore mode.

And, according to my phone, I have tried numerous time connecting it to the itunes. But itunes from my computer says "value is missing".

I have updated itunes, redownloaded the itunes, reboot my macbook, changed the USB cable.

I have no idea what to do next. I literally spent several hours on this and I really need my phone back...

It doesn't SOUND like the device is in recovery mode so try these steps: If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

If the device was in recovery mode it wouldn't say it was disabled. If that doesn't work, check out the GET HELP section at the end.

Hi

Turn iPhone off

Make sure your pc is running the latest iTunes 12.6.1

Connect lead to USB on your pc

Press & hold just the power button down on iPhone don't let go

Connect lead to iPhone keep power button pressed down until pc sees iPhone Then wait for restore you may need to do this more than once Before it works.
