How to view 360 panorama pictures in mac photos

Hello there,

The Mac Photos app, imports the the 360 Panorama pictures without problem but while viewing them, it shows the panorama picture as a simple flat image. I want to know if there is any hidden feature to view a 360 panorama pictures as a rounded sphere. If there isn't any, It this going to be addressed as a new feature for near future?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), macOS Sierra (10.12.5)

You can view the panoramic picture enlarged and then pan it , but otherwise there is no option to see it in a special projection.I'm viewing my panos in s slideshow with the Ken Burns effect to animate the panning.

The preview of Photos on High Sierra shown during the WWDC did not reveal any new plans with respect to panoramic photos, so we cannot say anything about Apple's future plans.
