It's perfectly good for you to put it on charge at any time and leave it there until it gets to 100%. But, you can take it off charge at any point if you have a need to. You will do no harm to the phone.

Sir, thank you very much.
But for the last time I wanna confirm is it absolutely safe for my battery to work in long term. Sorry sir but I wanted to ask this last time for my self satisfaction because I don't wanna take risks with my new iPhone 7. Once again sorry sir and please tell if it is surely safe or not for my battery.
I understand your concern; these phones are expensive. But as you can see here, the consensus of all replies assure you it is safe to charge your phone as and when you like. It is only the maximum figure to which you charge it that varies and all of us would be right to a degree.
Charge it as and when you need to, and perhaps vary the amount you charge it to.
But is it healthy for my battery if I go from 20 to 100 or is it harmful?please tell
20 to 100% seems a good bet to me; but the 'rule', if it exists, would be better written as not to let your battery level fall below 15%.
Hi
I always charge iPhone / ipad when I want to sometimes 20% or 40%
It doesn't really matter just don't go below 5%
Cheers
Brian
AS you can see, it is almost a matter of personal opinion .... but letting it down to 5% is too near the mark.
Yes it is safe. I charge my phone overnight regardless of the level so I have a fully charged phone every morning.
is it necessary to follow 40-80 charging rule
